Reappraisal FAQ

Westfield Common Level of Appraisal (CLA) Graph

  • Informal Pre-Grievance Hearings will be held remotely on Thursday, May 21st and Friday, May 22 from 10 a.m. – noon and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Formal Grievance Hearings will be held remotely on Friday, May 29th from
    9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Saturday, May 30th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Town hired professional appraisers, NEMRC, to conduct the town wide reappraisal. They will be scheduling the grievance hearings. You may contact NEMRC at 802-321-8025 to schedule an appointment. The pre-grievance is an informal discussion to go over changes, questions, and information that the parcel owner wants to discuss. Each remote meeting will be 15 minutes. If there are questions about your property it is recommended to schedule an informal pre-grievance hearing before requesting a formal grievance. Most issues can be resolved.

If you need additional assistance, contact the Board of Listers at 802-744-2484.
