Notice of Public Hearing
The Westfield Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday,
December 5, 2023, at the Westfield Community Center at 59 North Hill Road from 5:30-7:30 pm. The purpose of the Hearing is for the Planning Commission to receive comments and answer questions regarding proposed revisions to the Town of Westfield Zoning Bylaw.
The Planning Commission is proposing revisions to the Town of Westfield Zoning Bylaw to make the format more user-friendly for permit applicants and the Zoning Administrator. Revisions are also proposed in the Zoning Bylaw language to bring the Bylaw up to date with the Westfield Town Plan, Vermont Statutes, and federal regulations.
Lands throughout the Town of Westfield are affected by the proposed changes. Revisions are proposed for all Articles of the current Zoning Bylaw.

The following information may be examined on the Town of Westfield website www.westfield.vt.gov/zoning-bylaw/, in person at the Town Clerk’s office at 38 School Street Monday-Thursday 8 am- 4 pm, and at the Hitchcock Library at 1252 VT RT 100 Tuesday 2 pm – 7 pm, Thursday 10 am – 3 pm, and Sunday 11 am – 3 pm. Written public comment is invited through January 5, 2024 to westfieldplanning@gmail.com.
