♦  TRASHOSAURUS RECAP:

On Saturday, Aug. 26th area residents brought TRASHOSAURUS to life by bringing clean recyclables to create awareness of the items in our lives that can be recycled. It was a lot of fun and we created a stunning work of art with the help of Westfield resident Steve Myott. Steve donated and built the base chicken-wire dinosaur structure which the recyclables were attached to. Trashosaurus was on display on the Westfield Common for all to enjoy for a couple of weeks. The project was sponsored by the Hitchcock Memorial Museum and Library & the Westfield Recycling Center. Special thanks to Steve Myott for his efforts throughout the project.
